I am not exactly sure, you might want to post on ipodtouchfans.com - they have what..thousands of members there that help with iPod related issues, also got news on homebrew etc..so you might wanna hit up their forum, search first I'm sure a few million others have had the same issue. Try searching for "SSH password" or something (Without the quotes of course) @Troubled - When you go to enter the password, it will remain blank..just type it in normal and hit OK.
